The U.S. military ordered one of its doctors in Mosul, Iraq to stop blogging, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Major Michael Cohen was the doctor running the emergency room when the December 21 mess hall bombing took place, killing 22. Over the past year he wrote about his treatment of both U.S. soldiers and captured wounded on his 67cshdocs.com site. A statement on his site said that he had been ordered to shut down the site due to several unspecified violations of Army Regulations. A military spokesman in Iraq told the Inquirer that blogging is allowed, provided it doesn't disrupt unit discipline, make statements on behalf of commanders or the Army or reveal operational details that might prove useful to the enemy.
