YHOO Stakeholder Appeals to MSFT on Bended Knee

Facebook Integrates Live Search, Expands to Web
Yesterday Facebook moved its search beyond the closed social network, so queries typed into its search box give users the option of searching the web, too.

Ask Answers Questions in Search Results
Yesterday Ask.com rolled out the 11th version of its search engine, which it claims is 30 percent faster than the previous version.

Internet Stocks Take Monday Morning Dive
Major online companies suffered when the Dow tumbled below 10,000 yesterday -- for the first time in four years.

Antitrust Subcommittee Admonishes DoJ to Watch GOOG/YHOO Carefully

To Win Searchers Back, MSFT Pins Hopes on 'SearchPerks'

Google is testing a feature that lets users specify how much data they want to see in the summary sections of their search results.
When a person runs a query on Google, s/he typically gets a long string of websites back. Ideally, the topmost results are most relevant to his or her search.
