WB Network Reincarnates as Hulu-Style Website

Get your Gilmore fix online

Warner Bros.' television arm plans on resurrecting the WB TV network in the form of a new website.

The site will stream free episodes of all WB-produced series during the network's 1995-2006 run, including Gilmore Girls, Everwood, and What I Like About You.

The site — which models that of Hulu — will be ad-supported and geared primarily to women ages 12-34. In addition to older full-length series, the site will feature new, short series and vignettes.

Each episode will run 5 minutes, with 10 installments planned.

The WB and UPN Networks merged to form The CW during the 2006-07 TV season. Several WB shows lost audience after the change.
