Celebrity Gossip Channel Gets Gig on MySpace TV

Coming to MySpace TV

MySpace and TMZ have launched a branded channel on MySpace TV.

TMZ will contribute two to three clips per week to the channel. The clips come from TMZ's syndicated TV show, and will appear exclusively on MySpace 24 hours after airing.

TMZ will also deliver up to 15 non-exclusive clips to the channel per week.

Launched in December 2005 by Time Warner, celebrity gossip site TMZ.com attracted some 11 million unique users last month, according to comScore. TMZ's show, which debuted in September '07, achieves a rating of 2.3 — making it the top-rated new syndicated TV show.

MySpace launched a separate celebrity channel last month. TMZ's content will be slightly more salacious in nature.
