Bebo, the largest UK-native social network, is rumored to have been sold to a masked buyer for $1 billion.

Some believe the buyer may be Google, due to a user overlap between Bebo and Google-owned Orkut.

Microsoft may have an eye on the property as well.

Other potential buyers include CBS, Viacom, and Comcast. News Corp. and Yahoo reportedly dropped out, due to price.
