Yahoo Goes 'Duck, Duck, Goose!' Over Microsoft, AOL, Google

After its expected rejection of Microsoft's acquisition offer, Yahoo may revisit the idea of a merger with AOL, reports The Times of London.

Yahoo might also outsource search advertising to Google in an effort to keep its remaining operations independent.

The deal would offload spending and bring in new revenue for Yahoo — but it would also exchange long-term income for short-term security.

Nonetheless, it would likely meet the approval of regulatory bodies.
