Alacra has launched the Premium Content Ad Network (PCAN), a pay-per-action firm marking its debut in the increasingly crowded ad network arena.

PCAN targets finance and business publishers, with ads tied to white papers and other data from the Alacra Store.

Users that click on ads and purchase research documentation will earn publishers a fraction of the sale.

The Alacra Store houses over 16 million reports. EDGAR Online and The Livermore report have registered for the program.

According to Alley Insider, Alacra primarily gleans revenue from subscription fees and single-serve sales. The company is 11 years old.
