On-Demand ExerciseTV Expands Online Offerings with Comcast's Help


Workouts get an
update

ExerciseTV, an on-demand TV channel focused on fitness, is partnering with online video publisher thePlatform to expand its website with video workouts, clips and download-to-own fitness titles, according to a press release.

ExerciseTV claims its cable on-demand channel has over 5 million views per month. Users can also go online to purchase and download workouts to their PCs, iPods, and other portable devices.

ThePlatform, a subsidiary of Comcast, will help ExerciseTV publish and manage its library of over 200 downloadable fitness titles and syndicate content to other sites.

ThePlatform already works with BBC, CNBC, Comcast, Hearst, and Verizon Wireless.
