Now with open platform juice

ExactTarget has opened its email platform, enabling developers and social networks to embed email, SMS, and voice, among other services.
The new offering is called ExactTarget Embedded. Early adopters on the embed train include MIVA, Customer Portfolios, ePrize, FarStar, Global Cloud, and Helios.

According to DM News, Embedded will work much like Saleforce's Force.com, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Windows Live Platform.
