IAC/InterActive has selected Brightcove to deliver and syndicate video across its host of sites.
The partnership allows IAC sites like CitySearch, Ticketmaster and new satire site 23/6 to flesh out video offerings, providing more video inventory against which to sell ads.
This may prove beneficial to CitySearch, which has the biggest existing footprint in video advertising.
Opting not to participate in Brightcove's ad network, IAC will sell ad inventory directly, an arrangement Brightcove calls common among larger publishing partners.
Video ads on 23/6 and Ticketmaster.com are scarce or non-existent, but the partnership with Brightcove may soon change that.
