MTV Networks is building a new ad sales unit, offering advertisers real estate across the network's slate of online properties, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Dubbed Digital Fusion, the new division of MTVN's Digital Advertising Group will work with advertisers to find ways to better engage with audience members online, via mobile and elsewhere.
The Digital Fusion group will spread ads among MTVN's assets and work with advertisers to build custom creative executions, likely via one or more of MTV's entertainment brands.
MTVN apparently hopes to reinterpret its reputation for creating popular content to help fuel a renown for popular ad solutions.
