Microsoft Scores CNBC Ad Deal

CNBC has selected Microsoft to provide text ads on its network site, reports The Associated Press.

Microsoft will be the exclusive provider of contextual text ads on CNBC.com, beginning later this month. It will also take over sales of display ads in March of next year.

CNBC will maintain a sales staff to sell video ad inventory.

Microsoft will likely offer CNBC buyers the option of buying ads on MSN Money as well.
