Biggerboat Ad Network Harnesses Entertainment World to Match Brands with Users

BiggerBoat has launched what it claims is the first interactive vertical ad network, focused on connecting brands with the entertainment genre, to better reach target audiences.

Using the AdMatch platform, the Biggerboat Entertainment Advertising Network will "automatically place an ad next to and within the movies, music, TV shows, video games, and celebrities that best resonate with the brand's image," according to MediaPost.

BiggerBoat is a network of entertainment sites that includes Vibe, Flixster and Billboard. It reaches 15 million users a month.

AdMatch is powered by an entertainment recommendation engine of 13 million entertainment properties that can be matched to detailed demographic and psychographic profiles of some 15 million entertainment enthusiasts.

Biggerboat's Adam Lilling said, "We can target fans of a particular musician or film star, or target an entire genre such as classical music."
