MySpace Partners With Zazzle for Virtual Storefronts

One of a kind ... infinitely?

MySpace is working with start-up Zazzle.com to create storefronts where bands and musicians can sell t-shirts and other swag, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The Zazzle widget, which artists can put on their profile pages, takes visitors to a range of approved images that can be used to create custom products for purchase.

Zazzle says custom-created products get manufactured and shipped within 24 hours of the order.

The firm is still ironing out licensing deals that artists and bands may have with other companies for promotional products.

Giving fans a way to create their own merchandise, though, has the potential to foster a deep emotional connection in the fan, something that helps all parties.
