Medio Builds Ad Network for Mobile Publishers


One more for the mobile party

Medio Systems has built an ad network that allows publishers to monetize search on their mobile-friendly sites, reports ClickZ.

The MobileNow network puts sponsored links alongside a user's mobile site search that are contextual to that search. Results have been optimized through Medio, working with the publisher to make sure the metadata returns the best possible results.

Medio then splits the ad revenue from the sponsored links with the site publisher.

CBS Mobile has signed on as the first mobile publisher in the MobileNow network. It will deploy the search functionality and ad network across its handful of mobile sites.
