Mind games are over
With the 25-year legal battle between Beatles record label Apple Corps and Apple Inc. winding down, 16 John Lennon albums will now be available on iTunes for the first time.
According to BBC News, the deal follows a similar move by Paul McCartney in May. The complete Beatles collection is expected to appear ontiTunes next year.
In February, Apple and the Beatles came to an agreement over the use of the Apple name. Under the deal, Apple took full control of the name and will license certain trademarks back to the Beatles' Apple Corps.
Apple Corps was set up by the Beatles in 1968 to release songs and manage their creative exploits.
