AOL has rolled out AOL Mobile Search in beta testing mode, reports Search Engine Journal.
The mobile product uses AOL's Moviefone, MapQuest and CityGuide to produce results to search queries. Those results are displayed in a series of tabs for web, local and news.
As is the case on AOL's online destination, Google powers the web and image results for the mobile product alongside proprietary AOL offerings.
Third Screen Media serves display ads while Ingenio provides pay-per-call advertising.
