A new site called MegaVideo is taking aim - along with countless others - at YouTube, using money as a lure, reports TechCrunch.
Megavideo offers video publishers a variety of ways to monetize their creations.
Uploaders can join a "rewards" program through the site or have AdBrite ads inserted into their videos. It also lets people grabbing embedded videos to customize the look of the player to match their websites.
Other than that, there's little in the way of substantive difference between Megavideo and YouTube, or Revver, or the myriad other video-sharing sites.
Megavideo's homepage is free of banner or other ads, opting to earn revenue through the AdBrite program or charging for premium features on the site.
