ESPN Gets Into Casual (Adver)Gaming

ESPN has launched a new microsite devoted to providing casual games, reports MediaWeek.

ESNPNArcade.com will house over 40 games, most of which are sports-related, be they professional sports or more casual bar-games. The games were built by Skyworks, which has developed advergames for other sites. The sports network considers the gaming site another touch-point to connect with sports fans.

All games on the site are free with ad support. The US Marine Corp. is the initial sponsor of ESPN Arcade.
