NBC Universal is adapting to the new media world and renaming its television division, reports TV Week.
No longer will the division operate as NBC Universal Television Studio. Instead it will be known as Universal Media Studios.
Exec Ben Silverman says the change was made to meet the production and distribution needs of a digital world.
The first show developed by the new studio will be an adaptation of the Spanish-language telenovela "Sin Tetas No Hay Paraiso," which translates into English as, "Without Breasts There Is No Paradise." The show revolves around a woman who acts as a prostitute for a drug cartel in order to afford breast enhancement surgery.
