ESPN will purchase Cricinfo, a website dedicated to cricket, from the Wisden group, reports WebProNews. The purchase expands ESPN's already global-minded portfolio which includes ESPN.com, ESPNdeportes.com for the Spanish-speaking, and ESPNsoccernet.com.

ESPN's overall forays in the digital space include on-demand sports events, sports news, scores, analysis, on-demand video, fantasy sports, video games, mobile and other platforms.
