The History Channel is bringing WWII air battles to life with gusto. The cable channel and Kuma Games will release online games in which fans of the show Dogfights can fly planes in historical battles chronicled by the show, reports Next Generation.

Called "game-isodes," the cross-media experience will enable fans to fly fighter planes like the Hellcat and the Japanese Zero.

Last October, the History Channel and Kuma Games attracted over 1 million gamers for a similar series of online game-isodes for its Shootout TV series.
