NBC Launches Lunch Break Comedy Show

NBC has launched The Lunch Break Show with sponsor Arby's, reports NewTeeVee. A spin-off of its DotComedy web destination, the half-hour show will run four times between noon and 2 p.m. on weekdays, alerting fans via email.

The show will feature a smorgasborg of comedy pulled from late-night shows, comedy series, web shorts and stand-up. The move was inspired by a recent survey from Kelton Research, which finds that an alarming 60 percent of office workers spend their lunch break at their desks, looking for distractions.
