AOL has just launched a new consumer electronics website geared to the non-tech-savvy, reports MediaWeek.
Switched.com will combine news about digital cameras and digital music players with celebrity and entertainment news. The site will be run by AOL's news division.
Sections like "Just Tell Me What to Get" and "Hype Check" directly address the mainstream consumer, while features like celebrity interviews merge entertainment and consumer news.
