In a big move out of its direct-selling strategy, Dell will sell its computers at Wal-Marts in North America, reports Globe and Mail.
Dell seeks to reclaim its position as top seller of computers. In recent years, HP has dethroned the direct computer seller.
The move will have Dell selling ready-made PCs instead of made-to-order ones customers can design online or via telephone. The move demonstrates that selling online is not a replacement for the retail space.
