Facebook Goes Classifieds with Oodle

Oodle has been chosen by Facebook to supply classified ads for the site's users, which consist primarily of college students, reports Marketing Pilgrim.

Oodle created a group within its network where Facebook members can post and search for ads. Those posting listings define who can see them, whether it be just Facebook members to anyone in the Oodle network.

Oodle enables its network to categorize their products by college, which complements Facebook's university-based model well. There does not appear to be a charge for listing items on the group.
