Brightcove Partners With Tremor

Video ad network Brightcove has partnered with Tremor Media in a deal each hopes will leverage the other's strengths, reports ClickZ.

Brightcove hopes to gain access to brand advertisers; Tremor has sights set on Brightcove's plentiful publisher inventory.

With a larger breadth of advertisers, Brightcove could cut down the number of times a person watching streaming video sees the same ad. Brightcove is also opening inventory on the 400 sites on its premium tier of publishers, which comprise just a slice of the 3,000 producers in its network.

The inventory that will be available to Tremor consists of clips ranging from 90 seconds to two minutes in length.

Ads will be sold in increments of 15 seconds or less. Tremor will manage sales, which will be served on a CPM basis. Options include pre-roll video and banner ads.
