A new site seeks to bring the same community sharing and rating features to videogames that YouTube brings to videos, reports Reuters.
The site, called Kongregate, lets visitors play games that creators have uploaded. Players can then chat with others and rate the games. Ads that run on the site keep it monetized. So far 300 games are available for play.
The site was founded by game creator Jim Greer and features investors from LinkedIn and PayPal. Sony and Nintendo have similar sites to highlight smaller games in the planning stages.
