YouTube isn't growing as quickly as it had been, but it's still growing at a faster rate than other video-sharing sites.
The number of visitors to Google's YouTube in February increased ninefold over the previous February's, MarketWatch reports. But in January, YouTube's traffic increased 13 times over the total for January 2006, and December's total was 20 times that of Dec. 2005, according to comScore.
Despite the deceleration, YouTube is still the leader of the video-sharing sector. "While the growth is slowing, one should also realize that YouTube's growth is still way ahead of other multi-media sites," said Bear Stearns analyst Lilian Y. Zhou.
