Previously only available to customers of a handful of mobile carriers, Yahoo's oneSearch is now accessible more widely, according to Search Engine Land.
The mobile search platform is available to 85 percent of all web-ready devices either as part of Yahoo's Mobile 2.0 or through Yahoo Go. oneSearch will not only take into consideration the search query as it's input but also return results based on the location of the searcher. Results will include both links and ads.
Initial tests by Greg Sterling at Search Engine Land have ads appearing relevant PPC ads at the top and sometimes the bottom of search results.
