Looking to appeal to the female gamer, Electronic Arts is partnering with iVillage to bring its popular pogo.com gaming portal to the online community for women.
EA has struck a deal with iVillage to make pogo.com the exclusive source for gaming content for iVillage's 16 million members, Wired reports.
iVillage will also begin hosting monthly game nights, and will be offering free 2-week Pogo passes for members. iVillage COO Ezra Kucharz adds, "The number of women playing games online has clearly exploded and, as the leading destination for women online, we know it was time for us to carve out a space where our members could play to their heart's content."
