YouTube and Digital Music Group have reportedly agreed to bring some 4,000 hours of content, including classic TV shows, to the video-sharing site in the coming weeks, writes Reuters, citing a Wall Street Journal article.

The programming will include free, ad-supported episodes of the 60's show I Spy (starring Robert Culp and Bill Cosby) and Gumby, among others. Digital Music, which will share in the ad revenue, is an online distributor of independently owned music, TV shows and films.

YouTube is supposed to use a much-awaited technology to filter and remove videos containing songs the rights to which belong to Digital Music.
