The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and Yahoo announced Wednesday that the ANA will be a major content provider for Yahoo's revamped advertising site, advertising.yahoo.com.
The updated site will offer summaries from some of ANA's collection of proprietary marketing industry information and expertise - including new research, articles and whitepapers. The relaunched site also features a creative gallery showcasing the industry's top creative work (online and offline) and an industry calendar that compiles all major industry events and conferences.
"The new advertising site will be an invaluable resource for the industry, offering the most recent and relevant research, best practices, cases studies and examples of best in class creative," said Matt Scheckner, director of marketing for Yahoo.
"This partnership is a natural collaboration for the ANA with a leading force in the online information space," said Bob Liodice, President and CEO of the ANA. "It leverages our extensive library of intellectual capital and highlights our important industry work."
The site features content from the Art Director's Club, Effie Awards and One Club. New sections of advertising.yahoo.com include Industry Calendar, Creative Gallery, Guest Editorials, and the Charlie Thomas Book Club.
The site also highlights Yahoo advertising and marketing solutions by industry (Auto, CPG, Entertainment, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Tech/Telco and Travel) and guidance on Yahoo's suite of products and services.
advertising.yahoo.com will run a different cartoon from The New Yorker archives each week and include video of some of the "Giants of Advertising," including Leo Burnett, David Ogilvy and Lester Wunderman.
