Canceled 'Kidnapped' to Finish Season on Web

NBC's freshman drama Kidnapped, after being buried on Saturdays at 9 p.m., has been yanked from the network's schedule - but fans can still watch online how the mystery unfolds.

Interestingly, the network plans to film all 13 episodes of Kidnapped, and the remaining shows will air on NBC.com, writes MediaWeek (via MediaBuyerPlanner). The move is perhaps an answer to questions posed by media buyers during the annual TV critics convention about what the fans of canceled serial dramas can expect.

In related news, ABC has ordered an additional four episodes of What About Brian, which ranks third on Mondays at 10 p.m., behind CBS's CSI: Miami and NBC's Studio 60.
