The CW network and MSN have agreed to stream the first episodes of CW primetime series on the portal before their TV premieres.
The CW-MSN agreement is not yet finalized and exactly when and which shows will be streamed are subject to change, MediaWeek reports. America's Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris and Supernatural and new drama Runaway are likely among those to make their fall debut online, about a week before their broadcast date.
But according to Reuters/Hollywood Reporter, the dates are set: The first hour of Model will be available starting Sept. 13, Runaway on Sept. 18, Supernatural on Sept. 21 and Everybody Hates Chris on Sept. 24.
This is the first such effort by newly formed CW network, though its precursors, WB and UPN, streamed shows last fall, including the pilot of Everybody Hates Chris on Google and Supernatural on Yahoo.
