The Interactive Advertising Bureau has launched its new industry Job Board to help recruiters with hiring talent in the interactive advertising industry, the IAB announced. The Job Board is being offered in conjunction with trade association newsletter publisher SmartBrief. The Job Board offers multiple job-listing options - the IAB website, SmartBrief or both.
Recruiting and developing talent is a challenge for the interactive ad industry, which grew 30 percent in 2005 and achieved a record - nearly $4 billion - first quarter in 2006, according to the IAB.
"There is such a need for and scarcity of qualified talent in today's marketplace," said IAB CEO Greg Stuart in a statement. "We are pleased to be able to offer this service, not only to our members, but to all companies in the interactive industry."
