Fox Shows Go on Sale on iTunes

Apple's iTunes has started selling TV programs from Fox, including "24," "The Shield," "Prison Break," and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," reports the Associated Press. The shows - from Fox, FX and 20th Century Fox Television library - will cost $1.99 to download. Apple already sells shows from ABC and NBC on iTunes.

The Simpsons in is not on the list of Fox shows on iTunes, writes MediaWeek (via MediaBuyerPlanner). Fox's move leaves CBS and the soon-to-be merged CW behind as the only broadcast networks without deals with Apple. However, CBS offers shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation via Google Video, and sells episodes of Survivor on its own website.
