During its upfront presentation Wednesday, College Sports Television (CSTV) Networks announced its projects for next season, including five new original reality series for TV and four new programs available only on CSTV.com, MediaWeek reports (via MediaBuyerPlanner). New broadband shows include The Brian Curtis Show; Tailgates and Traditions; Exit Stage Left; and trUe Story, which will use U-Wire service - CSTV's college newspaper wire - to uncover inside stories on college campuses.
"We will offer more unique programming, providing fans what they want, when they want it, and how they want to get it," said Tim Pernetti, senior VP of programming and talent for CSTV. The network also announced that it would be airing the NCAA football game between Notre Dame and Air Force on November 11.
The fresh TV programming includes Coach for a Day, which follows sports stars as they coach their former college teams for a day; Brain Freeze, an academic quiz show for college athletes; The Big Whistle, where contestants fight for a Division 1 men's basketball coaching spot; The Write Stuff, in which sports reporters for college newspaper compete to work at Sports Illustrated; and Go Pro or Go Home, which introduces indoor volleyball players to the beach version of the sport.
