CMP Media has launched vertical search engine TechSearch.com, in beta, that indexes content from CMP's and other tech news websites, blogs, magazines, vendor sites, and other news sources. The site is intended to connect technology buyers and sellers by offering an information tool for the technology industry, according to CMP.

TechSearch.com also hosts ten exclusive blogs written by CMP editors and industry experts about developments in security, electronics, software, e-business, networking and telecommunications, the internet, channel and distribution, and government.

It also features a top 10 tech stories of the day, Tech Encyclopedia and a list of the top 10 searches and 5 most popular news stories.
