Google would like to take advantage of the social aspect of bookmarks and has an ongoing project that may be an advanced version of its search history (actually, Personalized Search) feature, according to the ValleyWag, writes PC Mag. Google may also tie in its toolbar, the latest version of which can store bookmarks. A Google representative would neither confirm nor deny the project. Google's Personalized Search uses people's search histories and click behavior to tailor search results. It also allows the creation of bookmarks to which the user can add labels and notes; the bookmarks are accessible from any computer by signing in.
