Ford's latest integrated campaign, to be launched on the eve of the upcoming Daytona 500, is an "informational" promotion of a fictional dysfunction - Overactive Adrenaline Disorder (OAD) - symptoms of which include driving fast, craving excitement, being a NASCAR fan, writes ClickZ. The online portion centers around the soon-to-be-launched CarlsThrillRide.com.
The site helps visitors run "diagnostic tests" for OAD - and suggests various "cures," including a Ford Fusion and attendance at a NASCAR event. One of five new TV spots in the campaign will promote the site.
Also being developed is an online ad campaign encompassing sports, men's fitness and car-enthusiast media.
