Circuit City Experiments with CNET's New Creative Unit

CNET Networks is offering a new creative unit, "Page Turn," which allows marketers to include up to five pages of catalogs that users can view without leaving the web page, and Circuit City is experimenting with it on CNET.com, writes AdWeek (via MediaBuyerPlanner). The ad promotes digital cameras and camcorders for the holiday season; users can flip through it, similar to perusing a print catalog.

Visitors to Circuit City who purchase online can choose the store pick-up option, which guarantees the product will be ready in 24 minutes.

Point Roll, a rich media provider, offers a similar ad unit, called PaperBoy. It expands to show product and sale information, similar to newspaper circulars.
