BellSouth and AT&T (SBC) have finally launched YellowPages.com, a nationwide local search site that combines SBC's SMARTpages.com and BellSouth's RealPages.com, both of which now point to YellowPages.com, writes ClickZ. Users can search by keyword and business name or type and save selected search results; other features: click-to-call, maps and driving directions, City Guides and Consumer Guides.

"This increases the reach in terms of geography, as well as traffic and value," YellowPages.com VP of marketing Matt Crowley told ClickZ. "The advertiser has the value of the full reach of the YellowPages.com platform, greater content, functionality, traffic and brand."

In 1Q06, YellowPages.com will launch a cross-media ad campaign, created by Omnicom agency GSD&M, with a budget in the "tens of millions," Crowley said.
