Spammers Use Zombies, Authentication

Email security company Denver—MX Logic reports that 56 percent of all spam sent in July came from "zombie" PCs, writes BtoB Online - the third consecutive month that zombies accounted for more than half of spam. MX Logic also said that spam-sending domains are the biggest users of SPF and Sender ID, two authentication protocols developed to combat spam.
