Another Group Asks Google to Stop Digitizing Books

This week, the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publisher (ALPSP), an international trade group of nonprofit publishers, learned societies and university presses in some 30 countries requested that Google stop scanning copyrighted material for Google Print for Libraries, the search giant's massive undertaking to digitize the world's greatest libraries, writes Gary Price in a SearchEngineWatch blog post. Google has faced similar concerns from publishers before.
