With recent news of security holes in Firefox, Mozilla has scratched a college poster campaign associating the browser with the security of a condom; apparently, however, fans of the browser plan to revive the image, CNET reports. Mozilla announced patches on Monday for holes that could allow attackers to install code or steal personal data. Firefox updated to 1.0.3 and Mozilla to 1.7.7 last Friday; both updates are essentially security fixes that plugged vulnerabilities, reported Information Week.
