Toyota: Most Customer Contact Now on Web

A blog reports that Toyota is finding that the majority of contacts it has with its Scion customers are coming from online chat or email. The company's CEO yesterday told the crowd at the New York International Auto Show that the web has also streamlined the sales process, with most dealership visitors already knowing precisely what they desire from having played around with Toyota's online configurator. Toyota has been advertising online on site focused on gaming and lifestyles.
