Google lost yet another French trademark case late last week, according to CNET. Google and its French subsidiary were ordered to pay about a quarter million dollars for having let advertisers use the brand name Louis Vuitton as a means of targeting potential audiences. Just last month, Google lost a similar case lodged by Le Meriden Hotels and Resorts. In the U.S., it won the first round of a similar case brought by auto insurer Geico.
