Fake Mazda Blog Site Pulled

MediaPost: Blog Promoting Mazda Removed After Drawing Fire

A Mazda-touting blog was pulled offline after accusations that it was a shill site for the auto manufacturer. Hosted by the same company that hosts Mazda's parent company's ad agency, J. Walter Thompson, the "HalloweenM3" blog contained only two posts, both distributing Mazda-made TV commercials supposedly pulled from public access TV channel Manhattan Neighborhood Network. But a spokesman for that group said the ads never ran on its channel.
