Google release: Google Acquires Keyhole Corp

Google announced it bought Keyhole Corp, digital mapping company, for undisclosed terms. The Keyhole technology allows viewers to "fly" through maps "like a superhero." It gives Google access to a database of three-dimensional views of anywhere on the planet, as well as a database of road and business locations. Its current incarnation requires a software download and works only on certain PCs.
